Vegetable Garden

The Vegetable gardens are a seasonal delight that bring a whole happy dimension in the post monsoon months.

 

The main focus of the garden is seed production for the heirloom varieties that are slowly disappearing due to the increasing dominance of agro-business.

 

The seeds are available at the gardens or in our shop at the visitors center.

 

We concentrate of varieties that are well suited to our climate, and not subject to heavy pest attacks.

 

The gardens are 100% organic, with most of the nutrients for the plants being provided by green manures grown through the summer monsoon.
