Nursery

The nursery is one of the engines for the work we do at the gardens.

 

Not only does it provide plants for the development work at the gardens, it is also the source for our numerous external projects that are promoting the conservation of the TDEF at many levels of society – ranging from the local schools to large campus or resorts and hotels.

 

We produce around 30,000 saplings a year, which stay in the nursery for 1 or 2 years depending upon the particular requirement of the species.

 

It is also the social center of the gardens as it's here we have our famous Tea Breaks in the morning.
