Land Art

The Nirmiti project has been running at the gardens since 2012 and connects the local school children to their creative potential using simple natural materials found in the gardens.

 

They are never told what to do but simply encouraged to use the materials close at hand to manifest a temporary creation that expresses something that they feel.

 

The results are quite simply wonderful, and joy that the children express when they come for a return visit is evidence enough that this is an important and integral part of our work at the gardens.
